Rosacea

Care for flushing, persistent redness and sensitive skin.
Assessed first. Then the right care.

About Treatment

Rosacea is redness that flares and then often stays. The cheeks, nose, chin or forehead can flush, feel hot, or look uneven. Some people also have small spots, or fine vessels in the skin. It is not acne. Strong products meant for spots often make this skin worse. It is managed, rather than finished in one visit. The consultation looks at how easily the skin flushes, and whether the concern is background redness, spots, or those fine vessels. IPL is the usual choice for the redness. LED can be added when the skin needs calming. You are told what to expect before anything is booked. Heat, sun, alcohol, spicy food and harsh skincare often set a flush off, so those are worth mentioning. If a doctor is already treating your skin, say so then.
